The simulated anesthesia machine consists of a cart and two touchscreen computers, capable of simulating the connection and operation of an anesthesia machine.


Simulated monitor hardware and simulated virtual anesthesia machine display: Must be touchscreen tablets with interfaces designed to mimic real clinical settings.


Monitor parameters must include (but are not limited to): Heart Rate (HR), Systolic Blood Pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure, Respiratory Rate (RR), Respiratory Mode (Resp), Oxygen Saturation (SpO2), Body Temperature, Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NBP), End-Tidal Carbon Dioxide (EtCO2), Central Venous Pressure (CVP), Cardiac Output (C.O.), Pulmonary Artery Pressure (PAP), PaCO2 (Arterial Partial Pressure of Carbon Dioxide), PaO2 (Arterial Partial Pressure of Oxygen), PvCO2 (Venous Partial Pressure of Carbon Dioxide), PvO2 (Venous Partial Pressure of Oxygen), Intracranial Pressure (ICP), TOF (Train-of-Four monitoring for neuromuscular blockade depth), Oxygen, MRI, CT, X-ray display, 12-lead ECG display (I, II, III, aVL, aVR, aVF, V1–V6), and medical history display.


▲ Anesthesia machine parameters must include (but are not limited to): O2 (Oxygen), N2O (Nitrous Oxide), Tidal Volume (TV), Flow Waveform, PEEP (Positive End-Expiratory Pressure), Pplat (Plateau Pressure), PIP (Peak Inspiratory Pressure), Flow (Insp) (Inspiratory Flow Rate), MV (Minute Ventilation), RR (Respiratory Rate), FiO2 (Fraction of Inspired Oxygen), I:E (Inspiratory to Expiratory Ratio), PAW (Airway Pressure), Tinsp (Inspiratory Time), Plimit (Maximum Continuous Pressure), Tplat (Inspiratory Pause Time), TVi (Inspiratory Tidal Volume), TVe (Expiratory Tidal Volume), Slope (Time to Reach Target Pressure Pi), PIP (Peak Inspiratory Pressure), (Pinsp) Inspiratory Pressure, Monitoring of INSP. (Inspiratory Flow) and EXP. (Expiratory Flow), MAC (Minimum Alveolar Concentration).


Simulated monitor display functions: Capable of importing files such as images, examination reports, X-ray images, and image displays. Interface can be changed in ≥3 ways. Alarm system functions: Includes alarm mute and alarm pause for 2 minutes modes.


Formulas for calculating N2O values and selected inhaled and exhaled anesthetic agents must be written and developed based on readings from the Gasman program. Currently, three anesthetic agents are available: Desflurane, Isoflurane, Sevoflurane, etc.


Two operating modes: VCV (Volume Controlled Ventilation) and PCV (Pressure Controlled Ventilation).


Simulates the application of various anesthetic agents with realistic drug responses.
