Overview
This model simulates the upper body of an adult male, accurately representing the anatomical structures of the oral cavity, nasal cavity, and pharynx. It is designed for postoperative care training following a tracheostomy and also serves for oral care training.
Anatomy
The model features clearly defined structures, including the thyroid and cricoid cartilages and the suprasternal notch. It effectively demonstrates a tracheostomy state with precise skin and tracheal incision placement.
Realism
Training functions include opening the oral cavity for detailed care procedures, disinfection and dressing changes around the incision site, suctioning simulated mucus, tracheal intubation care, and airway humidification with antibiotic instillation, ensuring a comprehensive and realistic training experience.
Cleaning
Clean the simulator with a damp cloth, using warm water and neutral detergent.
Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or materials.
Allow trainer to completely dry before storing.
Keep away from sunshine.
