This model simulates the right upper limb of an adult, featuring an interchangeable module system. It incorporates a complete venous network and a circulatory pump, allowing for visible blood return upon successful venipuncture, making it ideal for clinical training in venipuncture techniques.
Anatomy
The model accurately represents the right forearm and includes key veins such as the cephalic, basilic, median cubital, and median antebrachial veins, alongside a comprehensive dorsal venous network. The wrist joint allows for realistic movement to facilitate various positioning for venipuncture.
Realism
Equipped with a blood circulation system powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, the model features electronic detection for proper tourniquet application, ensuring realistic blood return upon puncture.
It allows for multiple procedures, including venous blood collection and IV medication administration, with adjustable drip rates and replaceable puncture modules for enhanced skill practice.
Cleaning
Clean the simulator with a damp cloth, using warm water and neutral detergent.
Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or materials.
