Overview
This valuable task trainer is ideal for practice in giving Intravenous puncture. It realistically mimics an arm providing complete venous access for IV therapy which permits detailed exercises in venipuncture so that the technique can be mastered before actually administering to patients.
Anatomy
The venipuncture can also be performed along the median cephalic, median basilic, and median cubital veins.
Realism
Realism of appearance and performance necessary to provide realistic practice for trainees
• Key Features:
1) Realistic characteristic “pop” can be felt when needle penetrates veins
2) Produces a realistic backflow of blood or fluid injected in the syringe
3) The hand skin and the veins can be easily removed and replaced after use
4) Intramuscular injections may be performed in the deltoid muscle
Identify puncture locations through palpation of the veins：
• Venipuncture
• IV cannulation
• IV infusion
• Deltoid muscle injection
Cleaning
1. Clean the simulator with a damp cloth, using warm water and neutral detergent. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or materials.
2.Allow trainer to completely dry before storing.
3. Keep away from sunshine.
